Has anyone noticed a mix up with the tracks listed on the EP on the sticker and their actual order ? It seems the correct order is as follows A1 Relics One | A2 Relics One Mix Two | AA1 The Abacus Chat | AA2 A Place In Time Unless of course people have uploaded and named the tracks incorrectly on youtube?

MilsoN
Anyone else catch the "Cabo E" sample at the end of Relics One? Soooo sick!!

Hasirri
Still a favorite after all this time.... and one of the best Abacus records i own! Re-press of this please!

Gold as Heart
the poem of which the first stanza is read on "Relics One" was written in 1925 by one of the most celebrated Harlem Renaissance poets Countee Cullen and is called "Heritage." full poem can be found online. just as the music here, it is truly beautiful.

Andromajurus
looking for too long for a reasonable copy. any sellers out there?

Nilabor
Someone wants to sell or trade? You can check my records I have for sale

Lonesome Orange Kid
Is this the best deep house record of all time? Once you hear these tracks you have to stop and take that question seriously

Uleran
With the glut of 'lost'/hard to obtain house cuts re-surfacing over the last couple of years, how nice would it be if this one got the re-up treatment??!

Gunos

Classic release...

If you could call a track perfect then "Relics One Mix Two" could be it. Every sound/note/chord on this track was crafted with care and precision. An amazing bassline, deep deep deep dark chords, brilliant arrangement, lovely Rhodes and an array of analogue sounds to make your mouth water. Amazing in every way, if you like Larry Heard, Chez Damier, RT, G Strings, Classic Man, GU etc... then hunt this 12" down at all costs. Perfect! Please note that the track on YouTube listed as "Relics One Mix Two" is not the correct one but is track 2 on the other side.

Gri
Track titles were mixed up for sure

Rolorel
You're wrong, it's the only track on this EP with 2 versions (Almost the same but version one is shorter and has no speech etc.)and as you can read "Relics" has 2 versions.

One of the first few things from Abacus. Deeeeeeeeep, conscious house, for the heads. beautiful, not many other records from this period or since have used sounds like these. A very strong willed collection of songs that if you can pull off playing you deserve praise. For the dark room and a feeling crowd.
