In my opinion you don't have to have all the latest hardware, the latest plug-ins, the coolest synthesizers and know all the right frequencies. A good track is always a good track, no matter if you play it at a festival in front of thousands of people or at your cheap portable mono cassette player from 1989 with lousy speaker.
The music is about what you feel when listening to it. Without using any lyrics electronic music can mediate a psychological state as well as a feeling like joy, rage or euphoria. It can put you in a state of trance, let you see the world in a different way then before, it can help you when you are feeling sad and it can help you survive another hard day at work. Music is the soundtrack of your life and I can only hope that the music I have written, the feelings that I try to mediate, my musical gift to you, can be a part of your personal soundtrack.
