The first solo album of Alexander Dust remained, virtually, unreleased until August of 2014th. We could hear only 6 tracks from this one on YouTube as self-made promo videos, however, they appeared to be a bit strange and unusual for every genre they could present.
The most part of the album uses progressive forms of Soul, Swing and Modern Classic Music, remembering Billy Joel and Frank Sinatra, for example. But in some moments we can legibly hear the echoes of the ALSO works - the songs "Stupidity", "The Bells Of Churches", "Fleeting", and some others are representing the modern Gothic sound with the gloomy overdriven guitars and monotonic rhythm-section, and it's not without a dancy disco-looked "Subway Tonight" as well. As Alexander says about it all: "15 strange songs between weird Pop and dark longing."

"Dust to Dust" is a conceptual work about the man who has been disappointed in the religion and in stupid, indifferent society that seem to be asleep all the human's life long. To ease his existence, the protagonist decides to indwell in "sleeping" stage, too, and every time when he "wakes" he watches the same picture, also noting his aging. There is a plenty of interesting conclusions and sarcastic points of view. You may find some numbers provoking and completely serious along with the lyrics full of irony.

And one of the main things I'd like to tell about this release - its perfect stress-relieving atmosphere and catching composing solutions. So if you like ALSO, this can be a really must-have! And also I strongly recommend it to all nervous and gloomy people and to the ones who like interesting philosophic novels :)
