Ok, it doesn't say 'Yes' on the cover but I'm going to treat it as such. I saw them play (this tour) live in London so am both a fan and familiar with this album from the time it came out. I have to say the album has not aged well, normally 'Tormato' and 'Drama' come in for the canonical criticism but this one I feel is less listenable (apart from the softer ballads) than those two. Too grandiose, too soggy, too earnest, too complicated. The individual contributions are still worth listening out for but the whole is less than the sum of its parts.

Harsh.I like this a lot. Wakeman's keys are often thoughtful and pure melody - check "The Meeting". I would admit that - as ever - some of the lyrics are downright trite at best, but Anderson's vocals are as clear and as perfect as they ever were. I would recommend this album to any prog fan who has yet to hear it and that, by definition, must be only a very small number indeed.
