B-Key - Jah Warrior FLAC album

This one, it's definitely a grower. Instead of trying to go harder and bigger than the previous releases, it chose the ways of quality and craftmanship. 'Jah Warrior' might pack the most punch on the release and coin "The Sci Wax track" title but as a whole it is so so so much more.I like to leave the other artist referrals to the listeners ear but Collector_Cave_Guy has a strong point on B-Key tipping the hat to Photek on 'Red Sky', even to a point of ambitiously grouping up some of his early and late creations on jungle / dnb sound spectrum in(to) the 90's (pun, sorry) in one track."I'm setting the example... and what I've done will be puzzled over... and studied... and followed... forever"Beautifully crafted to the highest degree and it sounds great too. It definitely says "puzzled over". I am 100% certain it's from the movie Se7en and is in the scene where Kevin Spacey is in the cop car w Morgan Freeman & Brad Pitt on the way to the last murder scene (Brads wife) and he's explaining that the work he's done will be studied/copied forever.

I think the the movie sample in 'forever' says 'Puzzled over' and not 'hustled'...

This 4 tracker is seriously good. As with Nebulas last 4 tracker it is a release of two halves (or sides). Side A showcases two intricate, high tempo, futuristic and atmospheric Jungle style slammers. Both tracks sound different, but have a similar vibe. Both are produced to the highest standard and feature insane programming skills. Both of these will destroy any dancefloor and have been long sought after since first appearing on dub back in 2015. As for side B, B-Key really shows that he can take it into deep and moody territory, with two more thoughtful and more mellow rollers. The vibe on 'Forever' is so good, with wicked drum rolls and bags of smokey atmosphere and great use of Film samples. 'Red Sky' is in my opinion a tip of the hat to Rupert Parkes with a track that is channeling late nineties Photek, using similar structures to 'The Hidden Camera' but remaining unique enough to feel fresh and new. I won't wade into the ongoing debate about how many of these should be released, but if you manage to find one and pay up for it, you will have some seriously sought after wax that will age so so well. Future classics indeed.

...as early as 2013 even. I had a sciwax show I labeled as KEEP THIS!! cuz it started with 'Forever'. Took forever to be released too haha. Goddamn life-saving track though my god. Pure. Bliss.

Equinox played these in 2014 on Sci Wax Radio a lot, so a little older than 2015, but yes agreed instant classics.
