Bass Master Warriors - Before I Let Jungle Go FLAC album

Anybody know the captain barkey tune used in 10 grand dubplate? all i an find is that silverhawk sound system played it on dubpate in 1992 as s collab between barkey wickerman general tk wickerman and colin roache

the ten grand dubplate (I’m 99% sure) sample is from blackkat v exodus 1993 the vocal for i dont give a damn can also be found in that clash, i don;t know the actual tune it comes from but its played in that clash

This release is just a glimpse into the amazingly hectic ragga jungle produced by people on their own Amigas. Each track is special, but AA1 - 'Ten Grand Dub Plate' is the main reason for the 5-star review. Insane track, and excellent release as a whole.

  deepshoppingqueen check out some records by Dubb Hustlers and Lennie De Ice, they were big in the scene. you can also look up "RuffadunDaRufige" on youtube, since the account is nearly all obscure jungle tracks.

Do have any recommendations? Would be killer! Jungle like this is really hard to find.

Just got this one after searching for many years. 4 tracks of pure roughness. Living in the Hood is the one that always drove me into a frenzy. This is possibly one of the baddest jungle records out there. It was my number one want for a long time. Like the other man said below. If you see it for sale. Cop on sight. Don't think. Feeeeeeelllll

couldn't agree more Frankie.. Big up to a real junglist and all the respectable TDOT junglists! This tune is a pinnacle for jungle music as a whole.

I always wondered whether Talking Brakes credited with the mix down on this release was Talks Breaks (http://www.discogs.com/artist/Talks+Breaks) who featured on the Kemet record label. Does anyone know or have any further info about the Bass Master Warriors?Either way this is a mighty release and has even been cited by Aphex Twin as an influence. With 4 proper ruffneck, raucous bangers it's hard to pick a favourite but 'Before I let Jungle Go' is the smoothest and therefore stands out, whilst 'Ten Grand Dub Plate' is probably the most insane and also features the memorable vocal sample "one shot kill a pussy, watch this!" with crazy amens pitched up down and all around.For those of you looking for a similar fix, I'd recommend checking out the 'Redskin Records' label (http://www.discogs.com/label/Redskin+Records), Chatta B has a similar rough, raw style that can't be beaten if that's what you dig!

100% Ragga Jungle at its finest.. Oh yes yes. Four massive tunes that give maximum Booosh, plus they have all the ragga elements any respecting 90s Jungle lover could and do wish for. I would maybe go as far to say that some of the tunes on this 12" are more Ragga/Sound Clash, than they are jungle but rest assured they still turn any Dance floor to amen jelly. I you see this for sale, Do two things, 1:- Jump for Joy. 2:- Sell your car, and or wife. It may be rare and unknown but it sells for a heffty heffty price. But well worth it.. Thumbs up from me and most of the people lucky enough to own this slab of fine black plastic..
