As far as I'm aware, there was no boxset release in 2014. Do you have any proof that a 2014 release exists?(Edit: this is in response to "SpyderTracks" comment about a 2014 boxset)

There was no 2017 release. This listing should be removed or merged with the 2009 box set release. The Beastie Boys sold leftover stock from the 2009 release on their website on April 21st 2017. If you placed an order for the boxset in 2017, you were getting one of the original 2009 copies, so in theory you could have gotten one of the random 7" records.Here is the direct dialogue from their email sent to fans on April 21st, 2017:Today is the 25th anniversary of the release of "Check Your Head"! To celebrate the iconic release we've got some classic apparel from that era. Check out the new tees and hoodie available and order yours in bundles with the Remastered Double-LP version of Check Your Head. We also also have a few copies of the Limited Collectors Edition Hardcover 4xLP but once those are gone, they're gone! You don't want to miss out on this 8-panel gatefold package with foil cover inlay, packaged in a fabric-wrapped, black foil-stamped hardcover "coffee table book" case. It says random 7". That's not a stretch.. could be anything. People throw out singles. These guys were always into doing limited /mail order only fun offerings.... but not to diminish your point I have no evidence to support that copy in the notes.

I purchased this off the Beastie Boys website and just received it in the mail. It had the "Limited Collector's Edition Only 2000 Copies Made" sticker on the sealing and it also contained a random 7" of "Firebolt Hustle b/w Firebolt Theme" by The Firebolts! Very excited!
