Tygolar
My Bjork Favourites (just considering single releases) change with time: Hyperballad, All Is Full of Love, Triumph of a Heart because it is so joyfull / fun, Who Is It, Vitalic Mix, same reason . . . Where Is the Line, Soft Pink Truth Glow Stick Museum Remix, same reason ! ! ! ! . . . Bjork is often joyful and fun : )

But Pagan Poetry has a special place. Firstly because it is a truly exalting musical experience continually hitting a 'level' height throughout the song. Then secondly because of the lyrics and the particular word "pagan" - pagan is a good word for Bjork and beautifully used in the song. It's great Bjork expresses her strong connection with Earth so well.

I generally love remixes, exploring alternative potentials for a song, but the below mentioned Infusion mix of Pagan Poetry doesn't hit it for me. Sad fact: Pagan Poetry was produced during the time when vinyl was almost dead - so it was never officially released on vinyl.
