Bochum Welt - Elan FLAC album

Chelsea is a beautiful track that I always find moving. Worth having for this track alone.

My first ever experience with Bochum Welt music, and a pleasant surprise this album turned out to be....A short but sweet album with just a running time of 33mins yet delivers plenty of interesting thoughtful moments from beginning to end. 'Elan' style of ambient-Idm plays with a kind of contemporary film soundtrack feel to it. Parts of the album brings layers of atmospheres and moods that can associate with the likes of early Tangerine Dream and Brian Eno style of electronic ambient/synth music; but now updated with today's modern electronica/Idm touches. 'Elan' is mainly built around soft quiet ambient that occasionally add some melodic rhythms and spacious waves of synth patterns including subtle, occasionally obvious, influences of Idm - though used in a non harsh way, but a more gentle inducing manner that brings a nice change that moves away from the usual tougher louder experimental Idm music out there. This is a sort of album that's perfect for a quick fix listen into absorbing intelligent electronic music, esp if and when required!
