From the Papa Bue's Viking Jazzband liner notes: "While these liner notes are being written Papa Bue has taken all the scalps of the commercial bands and entertainers by having his version of "Schlafe mein Princhen" ranking No. 1 on the hit parade in Denmark" [The Schlafe Mein Prinzchen / Wiegenlied single was released 1960].

From the Chris Barber's Jazzband liner notes: "It is now more than ten years since Chris Barber formed his first band [1953 or 1954] (...). On this record you will find a selection of his recordings done for the Storyville label in 1954".
