This LP is off the hook, one of my faves of the last decade, can play it on repeat and never tire. Top quality, under rated and under appreciated, but a real gem.

OK,First up,i'll admit the only thing i'd heard by Chris Lowe before this was "Uncut Raw" on a mixtape.Or so i thought,it transpires he's credited with finding the "skull snaps" break.So on the strength of that track that fact and guests like PMD,Stezo,Large Pro,Dooley-O and Sadat X i spent the last of my paypal money(i was having withdrawls from vinyl buying and it was cheap).

Theres nothing too clever here or groundbreaking but there's plenty of party joints and a general feel good atmosphere.Everytime i put it on it grows on me more.The Black Life will definately be close to my turntables and on regular rotation for a while.Its on while i'm writing this and my heads nodding,usually a good sign.peace.
