Despite being mastered by Ted Jensen, the 5.1 mix of this live performance is fully dynamic and very nice on the ears. The performances are unique, specially constructred stage for this one off event I think only 500 people got into, the Blu-ray picture quality is really very good and the wide open dynamic 5.1 mix is a revelation compared to the heavy compression on the studio album.

Buy this one for the audio, make sure you get the Blu-ray as it's lossless surround. Midnight here is superb, I've come back to that track many times. Two of the songs feature video footage likely being shown on the screen to those in attendance helping to tell one of the "stories" and it's for a good reason as it's interactive with the performanc.

Buy with confidence!

This is Coldplay's best album since Rush of Blood for me, a winner from start to finish. What a shame Head Full of Dreams wasn't in the same vein.
