The Deep Dish remixes of this De’Lacy track were sorely overlooked because most people were expecting Hideaway part two. The vocal and dub are epic journeys. The Deep Dish Vocal Parts One And Two is a 15 minute plus journey with a steady 4/4 beat, typical Deep Dish original hi-hat, great bass line and typically well delivered vocals by Rainie Lassiter. The overall atmosphere is dark and foreboding. And as the title suggests it is divided into two parts. The second half being even more deep and dark. The Deep Dish On The Fly Dub comes in two versions. The vinyl version is a 13 minute plus slice of deep house sprinkled with distorted and echoed vocal samples, hard beats with basically the same elements of the vocal mix, but with an amazing breakdown near the end. The 9 minute plus cd version is a disappointment because the editing is just poor. These mixes are essential for any collectors of the duo’s work.
