Diamond Head were undoubtedly one of the pioneers of The New Wave Of British Heavy Metal, but there was more to them than that. The strong blues influence evident on a number of the tracks caused many to hail them as the natural successors to Led Zeppelin. This compilation offers an opportunity to hear the best from a band which Lars Ulrich of Metallia described as "inspirational".
