Released in 2013 on the Never My Love 4 CD box (disc 3)--EXCEPT "Voices Inside" which is a longer version of the same take on the original "Live" album. The same famous "4th movement" bass solo on the original release spliced in from a different west-coast show is spliced in here too. "Willie Weeks (y'all)"!!

what I don't understand is that, why the ghetto track sounds much faster and different in comparison to the old Live album version? they recorded it more times or the 2014 double LP release has got some digital after-cutting or so on? actually it starts differently and singing as well......everything is different. Is anyone out there who has some idea? thanks.

danradclyffe So is this album all different versions of the songs from 'Live' then? with a few unheard tracks? Exactly. And in that sense all of these tracks are unheard tracks ;) (apart from the 2013 Never My Love CD box, where it is released on CD3)

More importantly, tracks A1 - A4 (including 'The Ghetto') on the Hathaway album 'Live' were reportedly recorded at The Troubador, Hollywood. It is only the second side of 'Live' that is from the Bitter End.

Nilabor
This version of The Ghetto is from another show at The Bitter End - Hathaway played several shows there.
