Dr. Dre - 2001 FLAC album

Super good pressing, mine is uncensored, one of the best sounding records in my collection.

Just to make that clear: THIS version is uncensored! Whoever states that this is censored should doublecheck what version he/she owns, cause it's wrong.Sound is crisp clear as with all "Back to Black" releases I own. Quality product.The red/black/white "Back to Black" sticker on the front makes the difference it seems ... the censored version sticker is white/black.

I can confirm that this pressing is uncensorsed (the red sticker), it sounds great too with little to no defects, overall a great pressing

My album sounds good, i dont have original, but its sounds better than CD.

My back to black copy of this is the uncensored version.

Fuck me i've just bought that record here from GlobalGrooveRecord and I received a censored version I'm so sad...I don't even get why we should buy or sell some incomplete piece of art.. I really don't get that. Please make sure you'll get the right album before spending your cash on this! lol

I got the original 1999 copy and it's fine. Just that the back to black series says it's on 180 gram vinyl was interesting for me. Sure Not all on 180 gram is better than a normal record but most of the time it is. Now I heard a fesw complains about the release - damn what now?

I'm not sure what version to log this review/remark under, but I ordered Dr Dre 2001 Vinyl from Barnes and Noble last week.The album came in the typical packaging, explicit lyrics label on the front, and the labels on the records even show the titles of the songs that have curse words in them. But when I went to play them, they're all the censored versions of the songs. Not only that but the quality is shit. Sounds like someone heard the songs on the radio, put them on tape, and then transferred it to the record. Funny thing is that I called B&N immediately after hearing the first two tracks and told them that my copy is wrong. The rep told me that she sees I ordered the explicit version, not the censored version, so she doesn't know what happened, and is sending me out another right away. That's nice. But when I went to re-package the record for return, I saw that there was an invoice on the inside and sure enough, the invoice does say (clean version) on it. I'm hoping the new one is what it's supposed to bue, but i'm not betting on it. We'll see this week. I am writing this as just a suggestion to everyone here that if they're buying this record for someone else as a gift, don't do it. I also bought my cousin MMLP from B&N last week as a housewarming gift but he hasn't opened it yet to play it. I am dreading the phonecall of him telling me wtf why is half the words beeped out lol.

Is this an edited release or is it an explicit real reissue?

I just bought a Back To Black version with a red Back To Black sticker on the down left corner of the cover and its uncensored and the sound is clear. The records have the following Matrix runout: SIDE A: 92551E1/E - 4904861-A....SIDE B: 92551E2/D - 4904861-B.....SIDE C: 92551E3/E - 4904861-C......SIDE D: 92551E4/K - 4904861-D. I hope this will be helpful for you.

That repress is the Bullshit ! sounds not clear ! i mean if u understand what dynamic range is then buy the vinyl on this loudness vinyl ! i bought then i listining to that and i hear onlye the bass ! I buy the original Us Pressing for 90 Dollar. God Damn it what a Sound and Dynamic range everthing sounds Clear by the the album is one of the best mastering Album that was produced u can google it so for people that has no claim to the sound quality buy the Repress ! if you want the best sound by the Original. By the way all the back to black series vinyl is overpowerd sound it has no dynamic RANGE ! DONT BUY THE BACK TO BLACK SERIES !

Sure, my copy is a bad press, sound is not clear, and worst quality. It's horrible for that masterpiece !

The bass on this repress is amazing. Well worth the money.

Classic Hip Hop. Just must own it!! Great base and sound on this press.
