Dreadzone - Life, Love & Unity FLAC album

This is a good record. I love Techno, House and Jungle. This record has all three, altho I think the disco dread mix wins. Hard driving Techno/Trance with reverb drenched rasta vocals coming and going. Small arppegio going in the background adding the trancy feel. Very hard and dark. The Drumhead mix is pretty cool with more of the dub feel to it. Muted guitar lines and a bouncy feel with random reverb and delay drenched reggae samples rollin along. Some 303's, and a nice progression make this track a winner too. The Technova mix is some atmospheric pads over dubbed out jungle drums, some skankin organs and a few good breakdowns with reggae style bass. Its pretty good for those special times when it might be just what you needed but wouldnt fit into a Ragga jungle set so well as its more of an intelligent atmospheric track. Would probably be great to mix into some downtempo or some ninja tune type thing. All around great record!
