Drowning Pool - Sinner FLAC album

The Unlucky 13 edition of Sinner absolutely breaks my heart. Drowning Pool, with Dave, was one of my favorite bands when I was younger. When I learned that a version of this album with demos was being released, I picked it up and was floored. Even in a raw form, the songs were amazing and Dave's voice shone through. Had he not died, it's hard to think Drowning Pool would have not been bigger and more influential (no offense to anyone who is a die-hard fan post-Dave).

I don't think the "heaviness" of the instruments defines an album. Instead, I think the lyrical content and emotions of the singer dictate what genre the album fits in. I've constantly said that Sinner is a death metal album hiding in hard rock form because of what Dave discusses and the raw, unfiltered emotion he put into it. It's in my top five, and everytime I hear Sermon I get the chills.
