This is such a great song that it's almost impossible to ruin by remixing it. The timeless melody appears in all versions, with the WOW remix probably being my favourite here. The ravey synth chords sound a bit cheesy in 2007, but there is a pleasantly tinkling piano break. Although there was always a darker side to Dubstar (witness the sleeve designs), it was not until Sarah Blackwood formed Client that she sang about such things. Steve Hillier was the main lyricist for Dubstar, and his ear for pop hooks is clear on this release, which really should have been a huge hit. All the Dubstar singles (and indeed albums) are in some way lost classics. They are well worth picking up if you spot them in a bargain bin.

Great track, not-too-bad remixes. STARS rightly made Dubstar almost famous, even though this period was inundated with female-fronted trip-pop groups. Motiv 8 get the feet moving with a HI-NRG mix, though it pitches the vocals up a wee bit too much. Xpress 2 go for a deeper dub treatment that jettisons the vocals for filtered textures. I could see it working on the floor; at 9+ minutes, however, it'd be a good idea to use segments rather than the whole thing. Way Out West turn in a club version that doesn't do much for me. The giggling sample and the crowd noises seem out of place, and they show none of their own versatility or talent.
