Doukasa

"Standing Alone" is an excellent song offering both speed and a dangerously catchy refrain. As for the mixes, Neuroactive come up with one that is stylish perhaps, but rather bland and pale, as they pretty much streamlined the entire song and removed most of its character. The Echozide mix is a different matter, and succeeds quite well in what it intends to do, giving the song a trancey makeover. The lyrics on the other hand gave me an annyoing sense of déjà vu, being more than a tad bit similar to De/Vision's old classic "Dinner Without Grace". View proceed to hack it up into an uninspiring mess, also with some trancey elements. Finally the song "Will You Know?" is ok but nothing special, and seems to be a leftover from recording the album and sounds more pop than synthpop.
