Notes

This version is the 1968 reissue release on the orange label pressed on rigid vinyl of the 1962 release of the first electronically processed stereo version of this LP. Two versions are listed in the MR. One includes the (e) suffix in the cat. number-Elvis Presley - 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (Elvis' Gold Records, Vol. 2) and the other does not-Elvis Presley - 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (Elvis' Gold Records, Vol. 2), though both are noted on the label and cover as being electronically reprocessed for stereo. The back cover on all of these included two text boxes at the top. One discussing the reprocessed stereo and the other noting the importance of playing only on stereo equipment and a blurb on "Miracle ☼ Surface ®" This version also includes a red sticker under "STEREO" on the front cover-"STEREO EFFECT REPROCESSED FROM MONOPHONIC"

The original mono version Elvis Presley - 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (Elvis' Gold Records, Vol. 2) was issued in 1959.

Labels: This label style [orange (later some tan) with RCA to left of hole vertically] ran from 1968-1976, though after the introduction of dynaflex ca. 1971, some labels included "dynaflex" on the bottom of the label. For RCA LPs on the orange label without "dynaflex" noted, vinyl thickness is a determiner of release date. This LP is pressed on thick rigid vinyl.

Liner: Came with printed pink inner sleeve 21-112-1-40D featuring "....ELVIS' GREAT LP CATALOG ON RCA RECORDS"

Backing vocal credit on side B is incorrect as "2, 5" and should be 2-5. See original pressing: Elvis Presley - 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (Elvis' Gold Records, Vol. 2) and 1962 pressing: Elvis Presley - 50,000,000 Elvis Fans Can't Be Wrong (Elvis' Gold Records, Vol. 2).
