The neutral-to-dark ambiance on that one is lightened by the small bells or music box like sounds building up to a darker chaotic ending.Cload (Pole Remix):feedback sounds over statics are the starters of this song. Pole is adding a dub techno feel to Four Tet's song but without a beat. Timing at 2:39 and I wish the track was double the length. I would totally add a more beaty dub techno track to it and sustain the atmospheric feel of the track.Pole's Heim: Total Dub techno goodness and thank God and Pole for the nice lengthy song because I cannot get enough of that one! It is going to be on heavy rotation at my place in the next few weeks!A gem!

It's hard to say whether this should really be described as music at all, rhythmic and harmonic elements very gently emerge from the static, something like Eno's 'Discreet Music' being played at a Radian concert. Immensely calming.

I have never understood why people always come up with B. Eno when it comes to the definition of a great, mostly atmospheric content. I think this EP (especially the Pole track) has very few to do with any works of Brian Eno. While B. Eno mostly used simple tones/chords, these artists here have put ambient/melodies (or call this structure/context however you like) to way another level by using even more simple fragments, arranging them into a structure which uniquely presents their own ideas about music.
