Frankie Laine - Robin Hood FLAC album

I was 10 years old when this record came out, and am very glad to be around 60 years later to listen to these signature tunes from my childhood TV viewing days. However, there is a problem with the mastering of Robin Hood itself which I feel I should place on record. On my copy the matrix/runout of Robin Hood is RSZP 33621-1C as per the discogs citation. This pressing has two lengthy passages of noise around the middle of the side, and this is manifestly visible as over-modulation of the groove indicating poor quality control of the mastering process. This was presumably inaudible on contemporary turntables using a sapphire stylus. Consequently, discriminating buyers may wish to scrutinise the matrix number of any offerings. There may or may not have been a corrective at a later date; if not, you should be prepared to accept this deviation from acceptable sound quality.
