I never heard the original LP, but still I dare to say: The quality of this reissue is a good as it can get these days. Most likely the original sounds even better, but at least my fear of putting the needle down on another terrible reissue LP did not fulfill. The record is perfectly flat, has no remarkable background noise and the music just sounds as it should: transparent and crisp, warm and sweet at the same time. Good job, Doxy folks!

Doxy do not have access to the original masters & it is likely that your pressing was digital or even directly from a CD.The masters do still exist and it is possible to cut a high quality analog record from itThis won't happen of course as its too expensive for record companies and many of today's vinyl enthusiasts aren't aware that this is possible & how it should be
