Notes

Recorded and mixed at Orban Recording, Menlo Park, California using a Moog synthesizer with extensive outboard processing equipment, including custom multiple-delay-line analog time-base process, custom voltage-controlled narrowband and wideband frequency shifters, parametric equalizer and reverberation. Good record, but imagine how much more of a punch it would've brought had it been recorded on today's modern equipment.

I think I have a cassette rip and it sounds much better! A superb album that caught me by surprise when first introduced!

And if it's pressed on quality vinyl. Three copies I've encountered so far are all bad pressings. High surface noise and riddled with clicks.

Brilliant release took Brian Eno's Airports into the stars. You can hear where American electronic musician John Serrie got some of his cues to start making music. Nothing like this in 1980s and really a precursor to what became the ambient "space" music style of electronica. This is beatless, sequencer-less deep, atmospheric pure analog synthesizer music in what comes across as almost totally improvised but done so with many a heartfelt intuition. Long lengthy sustained chords with no real melodic focus but nevertheless equally mystifying and musical. Why this is not on an official cd is beyond anyone's guess. Attempts to contact Chandler is futile. A shame really as I am sure this one off album would sell in all mediums IF someone would re-release it.
