Fantastic record received today in the post, a very warm sound to it and the use of the amen breakbeat goes to show how forward thinking Hibrid was. I like the other reviewer feel that this is one of the first tunes to use the amen break in a hardcore/rave/breakbeat (whatever you wanna call it) track, it wasnt until a year later that Lennie De Ice used it so this could be a bit of history you have if you purchase it. The track is well constructed with a nice build up that also doesnt take too long, its a perfect chill out tune as well as a nice steady floor thumper weighing in at about 120ish BPM. Music from this time was of that speed before BPM's went off the charts in later years. Add this to your collection you wont regret it.

I've heard a lot about the "first" use of the Amen break in a dance tune, and for me, this was it. (Although Mantronix used it way before in a downtempo track). Theres even a 2 minute drumstumental of the breakbeat on side A! Still this was a massive track and got played a lot at the Hacienda and some of the warehouse parties that preceded the "Rave" scene in 1990, played alongside tracks like LFO's "LFO" and PKA's "Let me hear you say yeah". I believe this appears on a "Best of the Hacienda" too.
