Hilary Woods - Colt FLAC album

I sure can confirm that whatever comment written here seems to be accurate. I own a Project VCS cleaner, vacuum cleaned this record twice and almost to the point of scraping in order to get rid of most of the cracks & loud pops. There is another serious problem with the album, it sounds dull and mundane, failing to encompass the listener as it should do. Overall, avoid this album and spend your money on something better instead.

A good album that is hindered by the poor pressing. My copy pops and crackles like a campfire even though it is fresh out of the shrink-wrap. Hope it can clean up some.

This is a good album overall, think gothic Twin Peaks vibe. Bought this alongised Juliana Daugherty 'Light'. Both albums are windows into the particular worlds of these two ladies. Hilary tries to be the more ethereal and yet somehow misses the mark a little compared to Juliana. But having said that it is a good album and Hilary's vocal style is very pleasing on the ear.
A quick mention should go to the disappointing pressing quality though which pissed me off as there was a fair bit of crackle on the second side. Grrrrr. Juliana's clear vinyl LP was peerless quality in comparison....

I listened to two pristine records of this pressing, nevertheless both had a lot of pops and crackles. Very unpleasant in the quieter parts of the album. Again: Good job Rainbo...
