Little can be said about Irma Thomas that does not come over to you in a song from her - regarding her feeling for the Blues. Irma was born in Panchatla, Louisiana in 1941; and, prior to becoming a High School Graduate, she sang in school shows and plays.
Almost everybody in and around New Orleans, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston bought her 'It's Raining' and 'Ruler Of My Heart' - but, 'Wish Someone Would Care' was her first national hit. Irma is now kept busy working in clubs throughout Southern America. When you hear this record you will know why!
