I went through 4 copies of this 7" trying to find a decent pressing. They all had an annoying scraping noise running throughout. A friend of mine has it on LP and it has the same scratch type noise on it too. Maybe some sort of 'industrial' plant noise supposed to emulate the sound of a car factory?

It is what it is. The film Blue Collar is set in a car factory......but I guess you know that :)
