Jason Corder & Beta Two Agonist - Further To Find Closer FLAC album

A nice collaboration between Beta Two Agonist an up and coming producer with the well established Jason Corder from Off The Sky. It appears fragments of sounds were exchanged between the two and compiled and finally edited into a seamless soundscape by Jason Corder. What you have is allot of shimmering elements and a good balance of moods. While the instruments may be fairly experimental the editing and layering of them make them more to an ambient album than a field recording which I like. This cd could find a good home in an old cathedral or outside as a setting. It wants your attention not wanting to be background music. Very nice blends from song to song. It's clear to hear where the song changes by the mood but you don't need to check the time to know. Please check out Zero Field by Beta Two Agonist and Gently down the Stream by Off the Sky and you will see the balance here blended. Having them work on individual sounds, sharing them and then putting them together compliment's each owns style well. A worthy blind collaboration that you should pick up.
