"New age music is a musical development that appeals to those with modern values and tastes from Eno to Elgar. Instrumental in most instances it follows the classic tradition of being able to evoke atmosphere and emotion through the playing of instruments"

Worth owning for Final Cruise and uptempo synthesizer track with very nice melodic hooks. There one other very ambient atmospheric track thats superb the rest of this release has a sort of stitch together feel and concocted of low key fuzak music that would have fit well on GRP in the early 80s!

This is the kind of muzak that you often found being played over "pages from Ceefax" in the wee hours of the morning on BBC1. Why did I purchase it then? Well, I liked the music video for Atmospheric Conditions from the "Art of Landscape" project when I was a kid and that's really it. The album does make for decent listening when your doing the dishes or something, and fills the silence of the empty house with non-invasive sound. All it's good for really. I can't imagine many people clamoring to get this one. It's merely distracting sleaze.
