20 years later, still a timeless classic. Not every single track has aged well, but most of it is still stellar along with Sawtooth.

Influential album with great production. 'Brother' is one timeless beast.

One of the best drum & bass albums of all time, Jonny L released this at his peak and this album showcases his futuristic darkcore sound to great effect. Every track on the album stands on its own. 'Brother' is a goth influenced techy roller which still sounds original today. 'Uneasy' is a haunting track with steppa beats and a ghostly female vocal. 'Focus' is a superb tune and features a didgeridoo which gives the tune a dark identity. 'PBX' is one of my favs from the album and this tune is just tribal! Just imagine going deep sea diving and being dragged into the Abyss by an unknown force! 'See red' was played by all the big dj's and consists of a distorted synth sound over some deep beats & bass. 'Viper' features Optical and was produced in a day, the result is dangerous.
There are also three vocal cuts with 'In Vain' sounding something out of Blade runner and still light years ahaed. '20 Degrees' is a stormer with angry rapping by Sivah bullet over Mr L's hectic beats.

If you like drum and bass with a dark and futuristic vibe but still want something that you could listen to at home, then 'Magnetic' would not be a bad choice. Vinyl or cd? Get either and enjoy one of the finest albums of all time
