I have the first pressing blue vinyl and this one. Both are very noisy and overall poor quality pressings. Anybody know if any of the different color variants are good quality? This album really deserves a high quality, super quiet vinyl release.

The new Matador release on black vinyl is flawless and sounds good, no noise and clicks and pops...

I have the yellow pressing, sounds pretty good, only a little bit of surface noise on B1. But not bad at all.

I just picked up the clear w/blue splatter variant from my local shop, and the matrix/runout is completely different from the one seen on a few other pressings, which is 15-03558-A....15 03558-A-B. I'll let you know how it sounds and what the matrix/runout is when I give it a listen in the next couple days.

The 2016 Yellow sounds pretty good. There is a few minutes at the start of each side that is quite noisy but it does not harm and if anything adds a little edge to the sound, certainly for Blacktop. Any noise on it didn't take away enjoyment.

Agreed. Such a beautiful record ruined by a lousy pressing. Especially on "Go Home" where there is so much noise and static.....sad.
