Notes

From the jacket - "Leontyne Price is a member of the Washington Square Methodist Church in New York. She has often sung there, but she also loves the beautiful evening prayer service at St. Thomas Church, and to make this record with its famous choir of men and boys was her idea.

"The Choir School of St. Thomas Episcopal Church is unique. It alone in this country adheres to the definition of such institutions as they exist in England and on the Continent. Fifty boarding students, 10 to 14 years of age, follow a rigorous classical pre-preparatory curriculum. Eleven states and the District of Columbia are represented in the student body." - Francis Robinson.
