Lonnie Liston Smith: ”I remember Marcus Miller writing ‘Space Princess’; it was future, but based from a vision from that particular period. How come so much great music happen in the seventies? Everyone we trying to come up with this ‘new concept’, using some kind of ideas related to Space… John Coltrane was a big example. Lot of the covers had those themes – ‘Bitches Brew’ from Miles too! The LP covers were all more creative back them, it was all related.”

Love love love Lonnie Liston Smith. This was a favorite, with so many hits on one album. Magical Journeys represents the live at its best and just grooving to it... key boards grove all across the wax! Singing for love is another. This LP will always be a favorite!
