Arguably, one of Quebec's greatest composers-arrangers-musicians, Paul Baillargeon is well known Internationally for several of his brilliant and cutting-edge film & theatrical soundtracks....including "Viens Mon Amour" (aka "Love In a 4 Letter World"), "Y'a Plus de Trou à Percé" (aka "Loving and Laughing")........and for having composed the music for the American "Star Trek...Next Generation" series.

This double-LP "La Course au Bonheur" was his last soundtrack recording (on vinyl), an obscure musical comedy and collaboration with lyricist Marcel Lefebvre, ......and featuring a veritable who's-who of Quebec performing artists, including :
Patsy Gallant, Ginette Bellavance (YUL, Raoul Duguay, Walter Boudreau), Roger Walls (Octobre, VEBB, Beau Dommage) on sax, Dompierre's Jean-Marie Benoit (guitars), the great Michel Donato (bass), Johanne Blouin (Organisation C), Jean-Pierre Ferland, Ginette Reno, .Toulouse's Judi Richards & Lorri Zimmerman, Richard & Normand Groulx (Starmania), Estelle Ste-Croix (Eternité, Harmonium, Octobre)....as well as Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont Royal (renowned children's choir).
