The A-side features 2 songs, joined together to flow as 1 complete track. 'Victim Of Love' never appeared elsewhere, whereas 'Your Kind Of Music' appeared on the full length LP/CD, though in a more 'finished' version.
The B-side features the original bootleg version of 'Take Me Away', as featured on the UK bootleg shortly before this pressing. It also featured the first appearance of the 'Bonus Beats' mix, which is actually a very stripped down groove, rather than just beats.
This bootleg mix is also notable as it features a sample from Loleatta Holloway, which was re-recorded for all subsequent Columbia releases.

Definitely an underrated 12"! My labels are blank except for side B where someone penned "Lift Every Voice & Sing". Chillid is on point as far as pricing. This is JERSEY without a doubt. Who ever sold cheap, my condolences.

There is a story behind this record that maybe not many are aware of. At the time i owned a record shop and new the guy at the record label in the UK who was dealing with the release of it. The guy who work for the record company new they weren't going to release these particular versions so decided to get some pressings done. As far as im aware only 25 copies exist. I am really surprised that 1, there are so many for sale at such cheap prices and 2, no one is snapping them up. I warmed Tony Humphries up and it was probably one of the first times he had played it in the UK and to me it is, even though it is rough on the recording side, is still the best version. New Jersey at its finest, rough, ready and heavy.

People often seem to confuse the UK and US versions of this booty...The UK version has the best pressing, and the US version features a under-rated demo track on the A-side.You need both!
