One CD-version came from the Label 'Hand' (UK) and another version from Marlboro (Germany). For the first time I have bought two different versions of CD-releases - these two versions. I dislike the loudness war and are scanning all my music with the DR Offline Meter because I like dynamics at listening to music.When I just read out the version from 'Marlboro' while listening to the 'Hand'-version I couldn't believe what Offline Meter is telling me: only dynamics of about DR 07! No, I trust my ears and then scanned the 'Hand'-version: DR 10. Okay, that's the way it is. I'm very surprised of this result. If you like this album please check it out.

Supplement concerning measured dynamics: the album 'Front Row' (Label Marlboro!) has a middle DR of 14! Some tracks even DR 16 and the title 'Dreams' DR 17. Don't know what Marlboro has done at 'Elusive'.

Kanrad

I think that this album deserves wider recognition. It has a great range of music covering downtempo vocal tracks (reminiscent of Portishead and Massive Attack), some beautiful floaty and poignant instrumental pieces and two powerful moody breakbeat tracks (My Friend and Obsessed are both simply awesome). It's maybe let down overall by a couple of tracks and isn't quite in the same league as its catalogue neighbour (Leftism!) but is worth checking out for some quality tracks.
