Beautiful press. Loud (but not the obnoxious pressing loud) and the mix is superb. Definitely the more affordable way to buy this album. Only complaint or nag is that its on 2 vinyl. Comes with download card with flac files.Highly Recommend

Audiophile quality isn't just about pressing, it must have the sound too, right? Hype stickers, more often hype than actuality... This one, however, comes with it! Flat, centered, and quiet vinyl but also booming. Great bass, separation, and mix. Just can't imagine this sounding any better. Bought 3 of the recent Primus' re-issues, and this is easily the best, and all 3 worth every penny.

so i kissed him upside the cranium with an aluminum baseball bat my name is mud!! You still reading? BUY THIS it sounds great Pork Soda fans will enjoy! m/

Sticker is misleading since this album was reissued on vinyl in 2009. Seems like there's been a lot of just plain wrong hype on stickers like the 2018 Black Friday Devo pic disc that claimed "first time on picture disc". Wrong again.

Malarad
They might have meant that but it's still not true. Plain might get a bad rap but they're not a bootleg label and they license what they release so it's very much an official release. Different labels reissue stuff all the time and they are not considered "unofficial" just because they are not the original record label.

Prorahun
"...first official..."They are likely referring to the Plain release in '09 not being a full-on official press from their label or it's imprint.

Nalmezar
If you have been waiting for an affordable copy of this...look no further! They did it right! Get one now before they are hard to come by again!

Warm, clean, clear pressing. No crackle or pops. Killer package and sounds awesome. A+

Zadora
Very nice and evened out mix, everything feels in its place and the surface noise is minimally heard to none at all. Flat, thick, and heavy records. Packaging is great though the gatefold sleeves jut out when the records are removed, which is pretty normal albeit disappointing. Records come in paper sleeves so it'd be best to get those changed out once you get it.For a record that hasn't seen a proper affordable pressing since 1998, this is a total no brainer of a buy. Fantastic reissue.

Trash
This thing sounds great. Awesome job on the remastering. Nice packaging as well!

Abuseyourdna
Awesome pressing, virtually no surface noise. The only complaint I have is that they come in a scratchy paper sleeve, just be ready to replace the sleeve. Easy peas ????

Mildorah
So is the 2009 reissue not a true "repress" then? That's what the sticker is making it sound like.

Arashilkis
I just wanna say the record remaster sounds great. Bass is super punchy and everything is up front in the mix. Also noticed Mr Krinkle having a whole new soundscape to it compared to the original. Every instrument is leveled out evenly.

Uaoteowi
I have the 2009 repress on Plain Records. I would like to know if the new 2018 Interscope is superior in sound. I don't want to shell out $25 if there is no difference.

Lavivan
The 2009 reissue was on a different label. This one is the first Interscope LP release of the album in 20 years.
