RoryStoneLove Presents Samory I - Black Gold FLAC album

This album is a modern day roots reggae classic! I have a vinyl copy and the dubs are an excellent addition to the already hefty tracklist that should not go so unheard. In a time when a lot of reggae artists are branching out into more electronic and hip-hop influenced sounds (perfectly fine by me, mind you) Rorystonelove, Black Dub and Samory I come at you with an album firmly rooted in tradition, managing to nail it and then some. The sound quality and production is top notch, and the songwriting and performances are inspired, most of all Samory I's passionate singing. Each track is interesting and stands on it's own, leading to an album that never suffers from a dull moment. Truly a brilliant album all the way through and one that will stand the test of time!
