Wow it’s 2015 and listening to this mix still gives me the chills! Sander’s sonic insight shines through on this release and should not be underestimated. If it can’t be listened to loud enough to make others compliment or complain, put some headphones on and crank the volume, you will be rewarded. When I’m strapped for time and still want to enjoy the experience, I’ll begin listening at #7 “The One Who Got Caught” by Filterheadz, or even #11 “Istanbul (DJ Remy Remix)” by Fimpalast. I also find myself listening to this album more often on rainy or cloudy days - a bit dark to go with the weather, but with enough energy to keep me moving.

As others have stated, it really is too bad Mr. Kleinenberg doesn’t make these kind of mixes anymore. Though there is just one more by Sander worth checking out - Global Underground Nubreed 004.

Thetath

This has got to be one of the most brilliant commercial mixes I have heard. It starts off with a tribally bang, it takes you through an atmospheric journey of dark and droning drums, it builds up to an insan3 climax with Blkwtch & Greed's Gentle Rain, courtesy of a Jacked High remix, and then simmers down with some saucy proggish-electro.

Now if only Sander still made these kinda mixes....
