If only this was released as a CD. I'd pay any amount of $$$ just for a physical copy. Amazing musical style. Brings my brain into another dimension.

Any music--any artform--can be dismissed as "imitation"; by that logic all rock and roll is just imitation of Elvis and all film is just imitation of cave painting. The archetype of a style does not imply ownership; artists are merely discoverers of language that others understand, reinterpret and build upon. This takes the language a step further.

The title track inhabits that tenuous space where our own memories are evoked by what we hear. The lo-fi textures, the detuned harmonies and the interplay between instrument and reverberation--speaker and space--are enthralling. It's thinking music. Beautiful and unconditional.
