Notes

detroit speed metal's ex-corrupt bassist bernard edwards puts out sleazy blues glam rock with the twin cities sleaziest hard rock band ever... too bad the 80's had to end here's the debut from the s&m boys...

Stephen Guffanti 0714 you sound like a real loser. a drunk bum drug head who can't read or thinks because he spends money to trade-mark a name that is old and over in the 80's... the band sister morphine already had that name you stupid thief. stealing a name makes you more then a loser with no original ideas of your own but it also says you're too stupid to understand history already beat you to it and you can't erase history so you bought a useless name... what an idiot. too dumb to think of your own idea... the public see's fools like you for the morons you are. grow the fuck up and use your brain drug head and stop drinking you've fried your skull. dumb fuck.

Glam 63 , thank you for the compliments! If you'd bothered to read I've been sober now 10 years! I've been through hell and back! The useless name has history now! The new record sound better than the first! When I saw somebody else had used my trademark for terraplane I just let it go. I wish them well and I wish you well! Calling people names and putting them down speaks volumes! I have obtained the name legally and as for original it was a popular rolling stone song! It's just had fit what I had been through! The music I put out with terraplane I am proud of and I I'm happy for the band that is using the name now! It was in the 90s just like sister morphine it was Rolling Stones song terraplane I'm sure you know was it Robert Johnson song. Sometimes it's not what you do it's the way you react to things that show your true colors! I wrote you and complimented you and still wish you well! Yes I fell into every rock and roll cliche pitfall but made it out alive well, I'm still making records recording them producing them playing on them! I have no time for mean and uncaring people! The first record was anti-drug and wanting people to nicer to each other! Might not have came off that way what's the new album that's about to be released is coming along far past my expectations! Just bought a new studio for the new disc! Sounding amazing. Again wishing you success in all your future endeavors! The stones track is awesome wish Brian Jones had played on it! Brian had borrowed the name from a muddy water song as I'm sure you know. Just like Phil lynott and Gary Moore of Thin Lizzy put out two or three records as Skid Row, did not hinder the 80s band Skid Row! You were neither that big or that good! I haven't promoted that first record did not put one dime into promotion! Which did very well for no promotion, the next one I will promote! If you could not see the irony and stupidity in what you wrote me as I tried to be nice and complimentary to your record and music, then you must be a very special person!

No disrespect this band does not own the name sister morphine I don't care what record company they were on or how long they use the name for the music's good. But in this country if you want to make sure your bands name is safe you need to trademark. It's not like a song where you could do a poor man's copyright the government wants their money! It's not interfering yet so feel free to use it just know the truth you do not own this name I don't care if Marianne Faithfull said you could use it. I was an addict for 23 years I've been sober for 9 barely made it back! Like I said good record you should have followed up with another one I'm sure it would have been great. But Mercury records or whatever record company you are on didn't see fit to trademark your name it is never been trademarked by anyone except for myself. Not trying to be a jerk sending all my blessings and use the name. If starts affecting us I will let you know but I don't think you have anything to worry about. Good luck with all your endeavors. And if you're still musicians make sure you trademark and copyright everything always. My first disc was terraplane riding the blinds. It was a lot easier to trademark and a lot less expensive back then but when the trademark ran out another band trademarked it. I have a very good lawyer and he advised me since I had let it go and it had been a few years to find a different name. In my recovery well I was trying to find a name for this project originally it was never going to release it it was way too personal but I heard the song sister morphine and I do remember waking up numerous times in the hospital bed after an overdose. And I realized that was the name hoping no one trademarked I did finding out that no one had ever put in for a trademark for this name. But you always have to think ahead.
