This is the second single off "Same Sights, New Light", a song that developed from a soundcheck idea to something more elaborate. Probably the first idea for the album and the last song to be finished. "Spies In The Trees" is accompanied by a remix of "Opinion Leader" by Soft.nerd from Munich, as well as by a live rendition of "Slow Mistakes", recorded during our January/February tour in 2008. It was released on September 18, 2009 as a free download single package, including artwork, a digital booklet, lyrics and infos on the tracks as well as the album.
