Classic jazzstep on Solid State's debut, POINT OF NO RETURN, with plenty of smooth keys and solid beats. "Just a Vision" already drenches the area with strings and soulful vocals, while "Life of Riley" goes more downtempo, albeit with a middling and somewhat dull rap. "Continental Breakfast" brings life back into things with a sax-driven piece, but it's the atmospherics and thick double bass of "Signing Off" that really capture the listener's attention, as does the dreamy minor key of "Celestial Sphere." "74th Avenue" and "Street Hustler" return to the jazz with a good helping of funk, while "Tuning" has a hint of digital mystery in it. The remix of "Just A Vision" from Marcus Intalex & ST Files cuts out most of the vocals for a more brisk cut, wrapping up a pleasant listening experience.
