Please repress :( sinister connection is an all time favorite, no other darkside drumwork really touches this tune imo

7th storey projects has a repress of code 001 in a couple weeks - a couple different other tunes than this plate, but looks like sinister connection is going to be on it. :)

Another great ep from sublogic which gives you 4 great tunes the code 1 was totally up their for that year but flip over and two unreleased gems that you wont find on vinyl ,, such a great ep +++++

I already own an original Code 001, but this record is well worth it for the New Creation (Unreleased Gwange Mix) alone! I've never heard nice stutter stop beats quite like that. Very dark track that just builds and builds into is sheer bliss. Vinyl Paradise (Unreleased Mix) is also an incredible remix of the original. More straight forward beats and bass with nice synths which are much different than the original. Can't wait to mix these. Guess one bonus is now I can try to mix Lively and Sinister Connections into each other as well.

Just an amazing release this one not only do you get (the best) two tracks that are from the very rare and highly sought after Code 001 EP But you also get the unreleased, reworked/remixed tracks "Vinyl Paradise" & "New Creation" the later being my favourite! A tune that I only ever heard Ratty play and wanted from the very first time on hearing it! This version uses the original tune's dark elements taking it to the darkest territory one could imagine :) Massive respect is due to Sublogic Recordings not just for this release but for the whole idea, ethos, and movement... awesome stuff! Big up Will !!

One of my favourite Sublogic re-presses this one. Lots of darkness on tracks A1 and AA1, but the absolute must have for me has to be the sublime, unreleased mix of 'Vinyl Paradise' by Spinback, Q-Project, Gwange & The Alliance. An excellent piece of mellow and uplifting early drum & bass with an ascending and descending piano section flowing through the track accompanied by restrained breaks (as opposed to the amens of the original mix) and soaring synths in the mid-section.Originally only available on dubplate and featured as Ratty's closing set piece on The edge Experience Vol. 7 mixtape collection. Sublogic deserve some serious props for doing all the groundwork for encouraging the Legend Records boys to allow them to bring such rarities to a wider audience. A label which deserves any oldskool collector's support.

excellent comment from breakbeatscientist!!!i second that...i know a lot of people frown on represses and although its nice to have an original plate, if you were not lucky enough to get the item all those yrs back, then the only way to get them is pay big wedge, or pay homage to labels such as these for having the balls & inclination to repress this stuff (including unreleased/dubplate versions)im 40 and was around at the time and have 1000s of 12"s but unfortunately had a lot of stuff stolen and sold over the years, so its actually refreshing to get back hold of some of the more rarer items that i dont necessarily want to shell out between £50-£100 for!well done to sublogic, will irvine and all the other likeminded people involved in sorting these releases from 20 yrs ago!
