There is much written about the Robert Ludwig (RL) mastering (Masterdisk) of this compilation. I've listened to both the RL version and this RCA pressing and in my opinion the RCA pressing sounds as good and for some cuts better. The RCA pressing is dead quiet and has an expansive soundstage. The imaging is also quite detailed and better than that found on most of the prior ABC label pressings. The vinyl was pressed at the RCA Indianapolis plant which had the best QA/QC history in the record business. Although these were an RCA Record Club pressing they are not easy to find. Recommended.

As 239 Have this it would be really useful if they could put pictures up so that those who wish to avoid Club issues can make more informed purchases...

Hi. I uploaded an image of the club version label. It is awaiting approval but in the meantime it wilk have the club matrix number as well as Mfg. by RCA on the left side of the label. Hope this helps.
