i'll go one further than eat_static and say that this is probably my favorite by yokota, even if only slightly above sakura. very nice.

Always surprised this is never rated as well as his other released, I love it just as much as I do "Sakura", "Grinning Cat" and "The Boy and the Tree", I would say its still in the same vein as them style wise but it probably has a different mood, darker maybe, and maybe this is why people don't seem to like it as much?

I think its great though, easily one of my favourite albums, very dreamy and hypnotic, relaxing but at the same time a bit edgy too, its got a real sound of its own. Great to listen to at night I find too.

I think its probably one that grows on you, or maybe you have to be in the right mood, either way I definitely recommend any Susumu Yokota fans to give this a listen and not dismiss it, and also give it more than one listen to make sure, or go back to it and give it another chance if you already own it.
