Telex - what a name for the band. And although they ripped off many in their pioneering mission, this somewhat 'enigmatic' trio still proved at least it had great sense of humour... Mind you, 'Wonderful World' came in time when Kraftwerk experienced their creative crisis finishing up 'Electric Cafe' and after The Art of Noise made it big with 'Beat Box'. The fourth member sadly missing here is probably Max Headroom (Mr. 'Paranoimia') as this music is obviously mechanic without much perception else than electronic. Something Falco or Giorgio Moroder would probably kill for but never get away with murder. Telex are very catchy and very funny and present a certain dancefloor side to The Residents, Laurie Anderson or Jean Michel Jarre... At times reminding of ideal breakdance slot, at times ideal for commercials... your choice. Fun guarranteed - depends which side of the dancefloor you're on.
