Terry Machinery Co was a machine shop operating in the 1950's & 1960's with locations throughout the United States and Canada. They sold the Homelite brand XL-12 and C-91 Chain Saw and these are the advertisement jingles promoted for the product.

By the time of this recording in 1963, official Canadian documents list only one Terry Machinery location left in Canada (Alberta). Side A is in English. Side B is in French (Canada's 2nd national language). Television ads would have aired during this time using this audio. Radio stations would have also used this audio for advertising.

Like the similar, less rare Homelite Hootenanny 7" record only promoting the XL-12, there is no artist listed (https://www.localhost/Unknown-Artist-Homelite-Hootenanny-Homelite-XL-12-Chain-Saw-Singing-Commercial/release/10232018).

There is also no record label listed aside from an unknown generic logo at the top and a catalog number on the side.

This is the only version to have French content along with English content (Exclusive to Canada).
